What's the difference between the four plans?

Roamer gets flexible hot-desk access with 5 day passes per month — perfect if you split your week between home, clients and the space. Local sits in between at 12 days a month with a locker and meeting room time. Resident gets 24/7 access with their own assigned desk, locker and gym access, and Team Room gives a small team a private ground floor office with their own key.

Is annual cheaper than monthly?

Yes. Annual is charged as eleven months for twelve — you pay for eleven and get the twelfth. Annual members are also held at their rate until their renewal date, so a price change part-way through the year doesn't touch you.

How do I cancel?

Accepted Answer

Monthly plans need one calendar month's written notice, by email to hello@burbspace.com or through your dashboard. Notice runs to the end of the following calendar month and that final month is payable. Annual fees are paid up front and are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund — you can simply choose not to renew at the end of the year.

Will my price go up?

Accepted Answer

We'll give you at least 30 days' written notice before any price change takes effect. Anything you've already paid for stays at the price you paid, and annual members are held at their rate until renewal.

Can I add a locker, gym access, storage or 24/7 access to my plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A locker is £10 a month, gym access £20 a month, a storage bay £60 a month, and a 24/7 door fob £25 a month. Parcel receipt and hold is £45 a month. Some of these are already included on the higher plans — Local and Resident include a locker, Resident includes gym access, and Resident and Team Room include 24/7 access. How do I book a day pass or a meeting room?

Pick the date in the calendar on the day pass or meeting room page. Availability is live, so what you see is what's actually free — no waiting for us to confirm. If your plan includes day passes or meeting hours, those are used automatically before you're charged anything, and the calendar tells you which it's using before you commit.

Do my included day passes roll over if I don't use them?

Accepted Answer

No. Included allowances run per calendar month, don't roll over, and have no cash value. Prepaid 5-Day Books are different — those are valid for six months from purchase, so you can spread them out.

What are the opening hours, and who gets 24/7 access?

Accepted Answer

The building is staffed 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and that's when day passes and standard memberships apply. Resident and Team Room members get 24/7 access included. Everyone else can add 24/7 access with a door fob for £25 a month.

Is there parking available?

Accepted Answer

Yes — there's free on-site parking at Unit 12, Green Park. The estate is easy to access by car from Cardiff, Bridgend and the M4.

Question 10

Can I bring clients or guests?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You're welcome to host clients in the lounge, or book a private meeting room from £59 per half-day for a more formal setting with HD video conferencing and a whiteboard. Guests are not permitted outside staffed hours without prior notice — if you hold a 24/7 fob and want to bring someone in on an evening or a weekend, tell us beforehand.

Can I use the Burbspace address as my business or registered office address?

Accepted Answer

No. We do not provide registered office, business address, correspondence address or mail forwarding services of any kind. Our address must not be given to Companies House, HMRC, a bank, a client or any other party as your business address, and we cannot make an exception to this. Members with assigned space — Resident and Team Room — can receive occasional post by prior arrangement with us, but that is a courtesy for people who are physically here, not an address service, and it does not entitle anyone to register the address anywhere.

Can you take delivery of my parcels?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with the parcel receipt and hold add-on at £45 a month. We take in and hold goods for you and keep them for 14 days. It's for goods only, not mail or correspondence, and it doesn't change the answer above about business addresses.

Question 13

Can I hire the space for an evening class or a workshop?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Evening and weekend hire is £40 for two hours — tutors, clubs, classes, committees, community groups, training courses. Once the working day ends the building is quiet and it's all yours, and parking is free and right outside. See the hire page and tell us the night and how many people.

Question 14

I'm a personal trainer — can I use the gym with my clients?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A regular off-peak block is £250 a month and casual hours are £12 an hour when we have space. Before you enquire, please know that we cannot let a block start without two things on file: your own valid public liability insurance, and evidence of a Level 3 personal training qualification. That's a firm requirement, not paperwork we'll chase you for later. Full details are on the gym page.

What happens after I pay?

You'll be asked to sign the Membership & Services Agreement in your dashboard. Your membership activates once that's signed — it's a two-step journey, pay then sign, and the dashboard walks you straight into it. Nothing else is needed from you.

Question 16

Do I need an account to book?

Accepted Answer

You need an account to book, because a booking has to belong to someone and your included allowances are tied to your membership. You don't need an account to look — availability, prices and the calendar are all visible before you sign up.
